I found these mushrooms growing on a log and I thought they’d make a nice photo. I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t notice the fly laying eggs.
I found this male dragonfly defending a territory, flying around a pond on an old mining site and seeing of any insect. I did see him get a female briefly and form a wheel while still flying though I wasn’t quick enough to photograph that.
