Just beneath the summit of Snowdon are these cliffs sitting above a small llyn/lake. Bathed in an evening light the lines of the bedding really began to stand out especially when seen from a drone.
North Cornwall is a fascinating place. There are lots of these headlands and most of them were fortified a thousand years ago or more as a safe place to live.

Well I could have gotten this by standing out in the English Channel up to my chest in water but why bother when you can fly out to capture the waves breaking on the shore?

My local nature reserve. It is an arable conversion, fields that were previously grazed converted to ones that flood in winter and remain wet into the spring so that birds can probe the ground to feed their young.
After a couple of days taking photos I was worn out. So when I saw the forecast of clear blue skies I was happy to send my drone up to do the work for me. This image captured perfectly my feeling that evening, peaceful and relaxed after working hard with just a little wind disturbing the calm waters round the corner.
On the way home after a family day out where I was watching this fantastic sunset in my mirrors, I finally had to stop and take some photos with the last of the colour
